Our client is recruiting for an experienced Financial Services Manager to lead the Client Support Team. The role is varied and the organisation is solid and well respected. They are looking for strong leadership skills, an agile approach to change and experience of strategic planning.
The main areas the role will cover are:
Providing leadership and motivation to the client support teams in the financial planning business area helping them to achieve business targets, support their career development and performance manage them. You will have direct input into hiring (review CVs, conducts interviews), dismissals (including performance reviews), promotions. The organisation places a lot of importance on development so it will be important to identify resourcing and training requirements and communicate these to senior managers, including COO and principals.
Oversee workflow for the teams to meet client, and business expectations and act as point of escalation for the resolution of administration problems and issues which may be of a technical nature. Understand and communicate business strategy to the client support teams. Using internal client management systems, such as Intelligent Office and Microsoft Office products as well as more bespoke systems as required. At all times work in line with the governance and operating requirements of the business while meeting the Financial Conduct Authority's Treating Customers Fairly, conduct risk and compliance requirements.
