Job Details

The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we've grown into the world's number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.

We're looking for a proactive and engaging individual, with a great sense of humour and a real desire to work in Marketing and Communications. Outstanding communication skills are essential - particularly with regard to email and telephone manner. You will also have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Previous office/marketing experience is desirable, but not necessary - more important is a willingness to get stuck in and learn. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a good grasp of digital media, including social media. Knowledge of design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and social posting management systems like Sprout would be a definite advantage.

In exchange, we offer a really fun and vibrant work environment, with the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills on a variety of different projects and campaigns. Although mostly office-based, there is evening and weekend work required as part of this role, particularly during peak periods. Candidates will be expected to be able to work independently, but the ability to work well within a defined team structure is essential.

Please take a look at our job description download for further details. If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we'd like to hear from you! Experience from within the entertainment sector is welcomed but not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values by visiting our website.
