Are you an experienced Food Technology Teacher or NQT looking for a supportive school from September?

Are you able to offer engaging Food Technology lessons to pupils praised for their behaviour and approach to their Education?

This school is a popular and oversubscribed Secondary Academy school, well known and respected locally and within the County. With a growing sixth form, huge amounts of varied and exciting clubs and extra curricula clubs.
As a pragmatic and engaging career teacher you will benefit from joining the Art, Design and Technology Faculty and benefiting from their strong team ethos, facilities and guidance of the HOD. The ability to offer support in graphics, textiles is an advantage but not essential.

The school are looking for a teacher to take ownership of their classroom and pupils. Support is provided in abundance by the school who look to employ teachers with commitment and the desire to continue with the school's journey to outstanding. ECT's and overseas teachers are also encouraged to apply and accommodation can be provided for relocating teachers.

The school is set on the outskirts of St Albans a short drive from Hatfield, Hertfordshire on a huge green and pleasant site and has regular buses to the local station and parking for drivers.

You will need to hold a teaching qualification or relevant experience, have a stable CV covering at least 10 years work history and an optimistic and committed approach. Applicants who can demonstrate experience or a good understanding of Literacy will also be at an advantage due to the schools latest focus on KS3 Literacy.
