We've partnered Anglian Water on projects for many years and we're proud of that heritage helping them to supply safe drinking water to 4.3 million people. Precious water resources are being squeezed by a growing population and lower rainfalls, so we're helping them take steps to "save every drop, every day" and to help us all "love every drop every day".
Why we need you
We need you to help us help Anglian Water as one of the Production Engineers on our Planned Works and Asset Health (PWAH) team. It's likely that you'll have an interest in supporting this leakage drive and be able to offer hands-on, practical engineering capability.
We'll rely on you to provide support in managing and delivering job and project allocation across several programmes/schemes in the Western Anglian region. We'll look to you to ensure that allocated projects comply with all health & safety, quality, environmental and CDM requirements. Operational risk assessments and project governance are key elements of the role, as is effective and timely delivery within budget to exacting safety standards.
PWAH are the team that helps support leakage and are responsible for fixing any larger leaks that the technicians find, and for identifying plannable repairs. These include main laying schemes, meter replacements and planned repairs to burst mains.
What you need to be successful in the role
Practical engineering experience, ideally within utilities, backed-up by a civil engineering qualification and well-developed knowledge of health & safety practices.
We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate ...
