Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

Our shops generate valuable income to support our services and contribute to local communities through volunteering opportunities and member involvement to learn skills and interact in a supportive environment.

About the role
As Assistant Manager (fixed term contract), you will join a diverse and inclusive team in our Finsbury Park shop. You will support the Shop Manager in the day to day running of our fast paced, busy flagship store and Cafe in a vibrant community in the heart of Finsbury Park. You will play a key role in volunteer recruitment and management. Additionally the role is key to running the engine of the shop through processing donations and helping to curate the unique look and feel of the shop.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have management experience in charity retail or a similar background. Achieving financial targets is fundamental but additionally, we are looking for someone interested in supporting and building relationships within the local community and helping the shop team to provide exemplary and rewarding customer service through our team of volunteers.

Fashion brand knowledge and awareness of current trends is a must as we cater to a younger crowd and a willingness to learn barista skills in our café to cover sickness, holidays and lunch breaks.

The shop is a faced paced environment so you will need to like that way of working.
