As a Quality Improvement Advisor working within our Quality Improvement department based at University Hospital Crosshouse you will have a key role in driving and supporting improvement and quality using validated improvement methodology and tools. You will also support the patient safety agenda with a particular focus on the introduction and development of a Value Management Approach within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Leading a small QI team supporting acute services you will be mentored by the QI Lead for Acute services.

With a Master's Degree or Professional qualification in a related subject (or working towards) and/or relevant experience you will also have post registration experience working within Quality Improvement. Self-motivated you will be well versed and educated in improvement methodology to deliver support, advice and training across a portfolio of improvement projects/programmes. Experience of managing clinical and organisational challenges and an ability to handle complex work without supervision is desirable as would the ability to negotiate and facilitate change with staff and stakeholders at all levels.

A car driver is essential.

Hours: 37.5 per week.
