37.5 hours per week

Work base - Abban Street Inverness

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Podiatrist to join the existing Podiatry team within South & Mid Division, NHS Highland.

This post requires the clinician to be able to work single-handedly and independently providing a full range of Podiatry interventions in a predominantly clinical environment. The post does include some domiciliary work.

The post holder will require extensive experience in undertaking nail surgery, as well as experience in Post Tibial blocks, deep enucleations, needling / blunt dissections of verrucae, and advanced techniques in orthotic manufacture. An understanding of the philosophy of care aims is desirable.

You will have a BSc qualification in Podiatric Medicine and be qualified in L.A and nail surgery, along with registration with the HCPC.

The work base is at Highland Podiatry Centre, 24 Abban Street within the Highland capital Inverness

You will be able to demonstrate a sound professional and clinical knowledge, with understanding of clinical governance, and its application. Of greatest importance is an ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload, are also essential requirements along with a full, current driving license.
