Our client is looking for an experienced .Net Developer to join their in-house software department. They are looking for someone who is as enthusiastic as we are about new technologies, cloud-based platforms and services, and problem solving using innovative solutions.
You will be responsible for the delivery of application features in line with the delivery plan and systems architecture laid down by the Development Manager. You will ensure coding is conducted to best practice guidelines, a high quality application suite is built and can be maintained.
Your main duties will include:
· Support of applications through the test cycle and throughout the service introduction phase
· Support the system, integration and technical testing phases through the fixing of issues in the code before entry in to the version control system. Deploying the application components to the test environment ensuring that testing can take place.
· Produce standard documentation throughout the software development lifecycle when required. Produce weekly status reports as required.
· Work with third party software vendors to provide the technical information they require in order to allow them to provide the functionality via web services required by the central integration hub.

You will have commercial experience using the Microsoft .NET Framework and associated technology stack. You will also have strong communication skills including the ability to present technical information to a wider audience, communicate issues and status updates to management in a concise manner.
It is desirable but not essential that you will have previous experience in using Threading and TPL as well as xUnit and Linux. You will take opportunities to develop and stretch yourself and be passionate about developing your career within Business Systems.
