Infrastructure Engineer

James Adams is seeking 2 Senior Infrastructure Engineers to join a well-established and rapidly expanding tech company in Burgess Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, or an established Infrastructure Engineer looking to take their next career step, to join a growing company that will provide them with a platform to work with the most up to date and cutting edge technologies.

With exciting growth plans, my client is looking to increase headcount by 200 people over the next few years. Over the past 12 months, the company has acquired a large number of new customers with more due to be onboarded this year. You will be part of a growing and dynamic team working with a diverse client base in exciting industry verticals, giving you continued exposure to modern technology. They are looking for people passionate about technology and their career growth to take the next step.

As a senior member of the team you will be an escalation point for other infrastructure analysts; you'll assist with projects and transitions and will have exposure to and be comfortable with dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of business.

You'll be a seasoned Wintel engineer with a broad range of strengths across the Microsoft stack. You'll use your passion and knowledge to assist the Infrastructure Manager and Technical Lead with our most complex escalated cases, and through our career framework there are longer-term management opportunities for the right candidate.

The role requires you to have detailed technical knowledge of Microsoft Server (2016 or more recent), Exchange, Hyper-V and VMware, Citrix, Azure, and InTune, as well as a broad aptitude with Enterprise Backup and Storage solutions such as Dell EMC and NetApp. Exposure to digital workflow solutions such as ServiceNow is advantageous, as is previous experience in an MSP environment.

In return, my client offers a base salary of up to £45k plus benefits including but not limited to flexible working, additional holiday scheme, an online training platform, and a tailored career progression plan.
