Field Marketing Manager - UK and Ireland

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the effective deployment of marketing initiatives

and plans that support overall marketing efforts and assist the UK and Ireland commercial

organisation in achieving their revenue goals. We are looking for a growth oriented marketer to

make an impact and help us grow the UK and Ireland business. You will be an effective

communicator that is able to juggle multiple projects whilst managing busy stakeholders of all


Deep understanding of the marketing funnel is very important, but being organised, energetic

and innovative (with a sense of fun!) is essential.

In your role you will work together with the regional team to create a strategic marketing plan and

to manage the budget for the region effectively. You should be comfortable working in a matrix

organisation, and with both external vendors and internal resources to achieve mutual strategic


What you will do

  • Run a smooth operating rhythm of measurable campaigns that drive revenue through sales teams
  • Execute integrated marketing programmes (incl. events, email, web, social) mapped to the buyer journey
  • Implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
  • Identify opportunities and innovate to improve customer marketing and cross/up sell campaigns
  • Partner with marketing support teams to leverage their expertise and get them to engage in working for your cause, including digital, content PR and social
  • Select and manage events (sponsored and hosted) to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
  • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities, through internal marketing newsletter and other channels
  • Help in managing local vendors and suppliers
  • Measure, analyse and report on impact of activities (on operational, campaign and tactical level)

What you will bring

  • Experience in a B2B marketing environment and familiarity of B2B sales cycles
  • Degree level education, marketing specific certification
  • Strong oral/written communications skills (English)
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication principles, practices, and techniques
  • Demand and lead generation as well as metric collection and analysis experience
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programmes to drive awareness and demand
  • Good understanding of marketing technologies and the ability to leverage marketing and sales automation tools
  • Creative problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organisation
  • Good reporting and analytics skills
