Application Developer - Oracle PL/SQL - Edinburgh - Permanent

Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to work with a prestigious financial services client based in Edinburgh. You will work as part of a well-established team that is delivering significant change across the business and will be expected to become an expert of a variety of in-house built applications (existing and new) and 3rd party products. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, gather requirements, develop solutions, and then test and release into production in an enterprise scale environment. Our client utilises technology to its fullest capability and it underpins the success they have as a business; they are keen that the talent they recruit for this role is a highly motivated individual that is driven by technology and understands the impact it can have on the success or failure of any business.

Essential:

- Experience in Oracle PL / SQL development

- Experience with source control (TFVC, Git, or similar)

- Experience of Agile methodologies

- Able to communicate with business stakeholders and end users

Desirable:

- C# / .NET experience (or similar development language)

- WinForms

- Angular

- Any exposure to Devops technologies such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
