POSITION PURPOSE

  1. Working with the Pricing & Channel Finance Manager to make recommendations on pricing activity to the business
  2. The Senior Pricing Analyst, EMEA is responsible for ensuring that all pricing is processed correctly and captured into our business systems
  3. Identifying opportunities to develop new reports and analytics to deliver pricing insights and drive higher levels of business performance.
  4. Maintain & develop pricing tools & processes


POSITION CONTEXT

  1. The position reports to the Pricing & Channel Finance Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES (CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS)

Pricing Management
  • Maintaining pricing data on ERP system
  • Special price reviews and processing
  • Provide detailed price/discount reporting
  • Customer price lists - development and maintenance
  • Provide backup for special pricing and rebate claim review and approvals
  • Pricing Tool Maintenance


Channel Data Management
  • Channel Data Management (CDM) system EMEA Lead, sell out and inventory, data management and analytics including monthly board pack reporting.
  • Management of CDM partners, working with external supplier to onboard new partners and manage existing partners
  • Work with IT & service providers to ensure data is complete and accurate


Business Intelligence
  • Develop business intelligence tools to analyse and share pricing/sales data across the business
  • Drive accountability across the sales organisation and provide insights and strategic support
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new reports and analytics to deliver insights and drive higher levels of business performance
  • Ad-hoc reporting for strategic accounts & partners, enabling self-serve wherever possible


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Advanced IT skills, BI Reporting / SQL / data management skills
  3. Experience of maintaining large data sets, ideally pricing or sales related
  4. A commercial mind-set with the ability to analyse the output of models beyond the reporting of financial data, providing in-depth business insight
  5. Continuous improvement - a driver of transformational change
  6. Effective time management and organisational skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to create and manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  8. Attention to detail - a zero error ethic


DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Microsoft Power BI report development
  2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce knowledge & experience, particularly pricing related
  3. Experience with distribution channels
  4. Strong teamwork, successfully engages with others to build and maintain positive relationships
  5. Well organised
  6. Additional European language

  1. Accurate Pricing maintained in systems
  2. CDM system: Data maintained and accurate
  3. Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reporting delivered on time and accurate
  4. Reduction in manual adjustments
  5. Reduction in Pricing Queries


Position temporary remote till reopening of the office in July 2021. From July, the role will be based in Targus Europe Ltd Head Office - Feltham TW14 8HA, United Kingdom. We have a flexible working policy to facilitate a mixture between home and office working (minimum 2 days of office working).

Free shuttle service available from Hatton Cross and Feltham stations.

Salary range: £50k - 53k per annum
