Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a very exciting new opportunity in our UK Marketing team. We have a busy innovation pipeline planned across our Peroni Nastro Azzurro brand in the UK and we are looking for a Brand Manager Innovation to own, commercialise and execute our upcoming innovation across the Peroni Nastro Azzurro brand.

The successful individual will work with the Marketing Manager to lead the delivery of the Peroni Nastro Azzurro innovation agenda to deliver growth and maximise the effectiveness via our Commercial Investment Framework. They will work with stakeholders at all levels across the business and lead the launch of innovation to balance commercial and brand equity growth through strong launch plans. They will ensure that all activity and brand related components of the business plan is managed on time and against budgets and the P&L remains strong.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is in an exciting phase as we drive scale, stature and fame for our brand globally, establishing PNA as an icon of Italian style around the world. Our partnership with Aston Martin Formula 1 (AMF1) officially launched in February this year and marks the beginning of a new era for Peroni Nastro Azzurro with our biggest ever marketing plans; reaching more people than ever before. The role of the Brand Manager will be to strengthen Peroni Nastro Azzurro's position as number 1 super premium beer brand in the UK & IRE by commercialising centrally developed innovation in the global lead market and building market-leading launch plans.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strengthen Peroni Nastro Azzurro's position as number 1 super premium beer brand in the UK & IRE by commercialising centrally developed innovation in the lead market
  • Develop and deliver a full mix marketing plan that effectively drives brand performance in the short and medium term
  • Execute brilliantly and co-ordinate all partners (internal and external) cultivating effective working relationships helping to deliver standout execution across marketing channels, meeting strategic brand objectives
  • Project manage with excellence, energising the cross-functional team to deliver with pace and ensure that all innovation and associated business plan activity is managed against budgets
  • Review and adapt plans to meet commercial and brand performance targets
  • Monitor and analyse consumer trends and understand the impact on execution
Experience Required
  • Experience in an innovation management or brand management position in an international FMCG company
  • Experience working within drinks categories in the UK
  • Strong commercial acumen, a clear understanding and demonstration of how to build strong commercial and brand propositions
  • Understand how P&Ls operate and how money is made
  • Proven experience in managing marketing projects through to successful completion
  • Premium drinks brand experience a benefit
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of best practice marketing principles and techniques
