Presales Consultant (Managed Services)

London / Crewe + remote working + travel to client site as and when required

Up to £80,000 OTE + benefits

My client is a privately owned, award winning, market leader in innovative Managed Services, Cloud, Digital Transformation and Consultancy offerings. Working with Enterprise, Public Sector and Commercial customers, they work with many different partners including VMware, Cisco and Citrix deliver specialist expertise with a focus on increasing productivity and exceeding customer expectations.

The Role

The Presales Consultant will play an integral role in the company's Managed Services organisation and will be involved with new clients as well driving Managed Services into existing clients. Working alongside the sales team, the Presales Consultant will be required to articulare the benefits of the solutions, the company values and what differentiates them from the competition. You'll be involved with bids ranging from £60,000 - £6,000,000.

Duties include:
  • Work with the sales teams to assist in the bid process and attend client meetings as and when required
  • Support the sales teams with client proposals
  • Create, develop and complete bids and tenders, working with third parties as and when needed
  • Play a lead role in discussions with prospective clients, delivering demonstrations and proposals
  • Document new services in a creative Service Design that details the scope of services
  • Define the commercial and cost models


Experiences / Skills required:
  • Proven experience in a Presales Managed Services role
  • Demonstratable experience in designing and delivery of managed service propositions
  • Strong communication, presenting and influential skills
  • Proven experience of working on RFPS, bids, tenders and proposals
  • Expert consultancy skills with service management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Motivated and dynamic - enjoys working in a fast paced, high energy environment
