Joining an early-stage startup is one of the most exciting opportunities for a tech leader BUT there are many things to consider.
Two critical elements are:
- The Founder(s) you will be working with and their vision/mission to make the business a success
- The product itself. Is it going to impact the market and solve a problem that nobody has done before
Fortunately, this opportunity has both.
The founder has exited 3x businesses successfully in the past and this will the be most successful by far. The CTO will join with equity, so there is a life-changing stake on offer with a 3-5 year exit.
The product is truly ground-breaking and fully patented internationally. It will be the go-to product for secure messaging across multiple industries - contracts are already signed with multiple customers.
We want an ambitious software engineering leader with a proven ability to grow and scale teams to join this journey and drive its growth/success following investment.
Key experience required:
- Proven experience leading and scaling software engineering teams. The team will be 10 when you join, scaling to 50 in 18-24 months
- A solid technical background (any of iOS / AWS / Node / Java
- Previous experience working on secure messaging apps is essential (stand-alone or API integrated)
- Excellent academic background (any biometrics highly desirable)
- Proven experience as a skilled decision-maker
- Proven experience designing and delivering on a plan for scale
