Why are we hiring?We've got some fantastic customers working with exciting technologies to create the next

generation of mobile applications. You'll help them to achieve their mission of building apps that

are performant, secure and loved by users. You will have the opportunity to be involved at every

stage of the SDLC from inception, deploying builds to the App Store and regularly iterating with

new updates and features.

What's in it for me?You begin life at Infinity Works as a Software Engineer, but the aim is to broaden your skills and

become a technology polyglot, excited to learn new technologies and techniques across the full

technical stack and product life cycle.

You will primarily be focused on hands on mobile engineering of consumer and business-related

apps and will have solid understanding of mobile & software engineering best practices such as

effective source control, code reviews, daily builds, and automated deployments, within an agile


Above all, you can write highly efficient, stable, secure, maintainable and performant code. And

understand the difference between engineering and over-engineering.

What level is the role?We try to operate the flattest company structure possible, that said we recognise progression is

important to our staff. As a consultancy, this is measured by the value we deliver to our

customers. The below table operates as a rough guide of the how our positions stack up. We're

hiring at all levels

RequirementsWe're looking for engineers with primary skills in Swift, Objective-C and XCode as well as

exposure to a number of other technologies. You will have worked around multiple parts of the software


Things we are looking for
  • Have shipped an app on the App Store and iterated on it.
  • Good knowledge of Apple frameworks and APIs e.g. Foundation, Cocoa Touch, UIKit etc.
  • Proficiency with architecture patterns MVC, MVVM VIPER etc.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of writing performant apps via multithreading, compression etc.
  • Able to monitor performance and user behaviour
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks

These would be great too, but aren't essential
  • Experience with cross-platform technologies (Xamarin, React Native, Flutter etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)
  • Experience developing for wearables e.g. WatchOS
