We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller to join our vibrant and busy finance team. You will be responsible for the termly billing processes for our 1200 pupils, ensuring that parents receive their bills on time and with a very high degree of accuracy. You will work to solve queries and questions on invoices, manage payments, direct debits and arrangements to pay fees in advance, as well as working with those customers who have outstanding debts. The management and housekeeping of the sales ledger will be your responsibility, ensuring that the Operations Manager and Finance Director have a clear understanding of the debt and cash collection picture at any time. You will also support in recording and processing charges for additional services and support non-fee invoicing where required.

The Sales Ledger Controller is part of the 10 strong finance team, who work in a collaborative way to problem solve, ensuring they provide the best service to the parents and wider school staff. The ideal applicant will be an experienced Sales Ledger Controller with proven exceptional customer service, strong excel skills (pivots/macros etc) and have great attention to detail. They will be able to prioritise and problem solve and take ownership for their own roles and responsibilities.

This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent role and the rate of pay is £24,000-£26,000 per annum.
