Project Manager - Telecoms - New Product Introduction - can work from home anywhere in the UK

We're expanding our Product Portfolio, consuming products from our Wholesale business while at the same time developing our own Product and Services Strategy. Having recently reorganised how the business is going to deliver change for both Products and System, an opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with strong Change Management experience to come and lead on the delivery of our complex and re-sold third party products.

Org Chart: Reporting to the Program Delivery Lead, you will also liaise closely with the Program Manager.

Key Relationships: You will work closely with our Product Manager, Business Analyst and business stakeholder teams, in particular the Sales, Marketing and Operational teams. You will also liaise with the Wholesale Project Management team, as well as third party suppliers where necessary.

Main duties and Key deliverables:

·Create, manage and execute project plans and activities for multiple, simultaneous projects, taking over some in flight as well as initiating from scratch.

·Set, manage and communicate clear project milestones and delivery dates.

·Motivate the entire project team towards achieving the common goal, under challenging timeframes.

·Reporting on the progress of projects to the core project team and on occasions may be asked to report directly to the senior leadership team through highlight reports and other ad-hoc reporting requirements.

·Will be responsible for decision making in relation to the progress of a project and will support/facilitate the decision making in reference to predetermined outcomes. Decisions where wider program impacts are anticipated need to be made in conjunction with the program lead.

·Develop and maintain highly effective working relationships with team members, suppliers and stakeholders.

·Managing all standard project documentation; RAIDs, project plans, resource plans etc.

·Measured on timeliness of delivery, where factors impacting the project are within sole control of the project manager, as well as impact on and ability to motivate and drive the project team towards delivering the agreed objective.

Other duties

·Primary objective will be to develop and deliver against the product roadmap dictated by the Product Manager.

·Presenting progress in governance forums as and when required.

·Supporting the whole project team in various capacities as and when required. Operating within a team outside of your immediate colleagues.

·Provide PMO support as necessary.

Special Requirements:

·Occasional travel between offices in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Southampton will be required.

·Comfortable with remote working with stakeholders and team members across the above locations, via internal collaboration/conferencing tools.

Person Specification


·Qualified to A-level/NVQ status or have minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.



·Minimum of 5 years experience delivering Product delivery projects

·Strong Change management experience

·Stakeholder management

·Supplier management

·Risk identification and management

·Degree level in business/project management.


·MS Office skills

·Stakeholder management

·Highly organised

·Confident and effective communication skills with stakeholders of varying seniority
