Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Python API) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a skilled C++ Backend Software Engineer? You could be progressing your career in a role that will allow you to have influence and quickly see the results of your work at a technology start-up; the core product is a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that can be used on a range of devices to process audio, such as hearing aids and IoT home devices, removing background noise and enabling better hearing.

As a senior Backend Software Engineer you'll partner with clients with a focus on API development which will be embedded into customers' products as well as deploying existing interfaces and extending core C++ algorithms and functionality to meet the specific requirements of each customer use case. There's an Agile team environment where you'll be collaboratively problem solving, taking a lead on projects and discussing technology choices.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process and the ability to work from home with the expectation to do a mix of office based and WFH going forward; you'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600.

  • You have strong C++ development experience
