Job Details

Data Developer / Engineer London / WfH to £500 p/day

Data Developer / Engineer (Cloud AWS Java Python Linux Terraform) *Contract 12 months*. Technologist Data Developer / Engineer sought by global FinTech for a twelve month contract.

As a Data Developer / Engineer you will be developing a variety of trading and post-trade solutions, supporting exchange and clearing; delivering systems that provide low latency performance, big data scalability, reliability and integrity, all while undergoing rapid release cycles.

You'll be hands on with detailed design and architecture plans for complex, large scale efforts within a multi-cloud environment; partaking in code reviews and defining key metrics for optimisation and re-factoring to drive continual improvements.

The company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process, in time you'll join colleagues in the London office.

Requirements:
  • You have strong Data Engineering with experience of AWS
  • You have Python and / or Java coding skills and a good knowledge of Linux OS
  • You have experience of architecting enterprise software applications
  • You have CI/CD experience with an understanding of IaC / DevOps; Terraform experience would be great
  • You're collaborative with good communication skills
