As our Change Manager, you'll help co-ordinate and facilitate the changes to our business processes and systems that will allow us to operate at optimum efficiency. The Continuous Improvement function at NPL is responsible for engaging the business in developing a culture of effective continuous improvement and managing change. This role will be responsible for identifying, leading organisational wide, continuous improvement projects, with a focus on project management, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation, and delivery. These projects will contain both change management elements as well as process re-design and systems implementations.
  • Interact across the business, including with the Quality Assurance team to seek out and prioritise areas for improvement.
  • Define, lead and deliver improvement programmes and projects with excellent project management and change methodologies.
  • Instil a culture of continuous improvement by engaging those within the business who see opportunities to improve in defining solutions.
About You
Skills and Background/Experience required

The person will need to demonstrate a strong ability to bring teams together from across NPL to solve challenging problems around improvement. Being able to work with NPLs culture to drive improvements in a simple and effective manor is key to success. Previous experience in Service Transition Manager experience in a CIO function with large ERP platforms is required; ideally Oracle to Dynamics.

A member of the senior leadership team within the CIO Department, responsible for leading the transition of leading edge IT solutions and services into service operation. Drive all activities to ensure operational readiness within the Department to support an effective transition from the technical delivery team and continuity of service.
  • Be a champion of change including the promotion of digital solutions based on cloud technologies supporting the wider CIO leadership team to present visible ownership, clear and consistent communication and a focus on benefits realisation
  • Lead the change impact assessment and operational readiness plan for the CIO Department with respect to the new service
