Technical Security Analyst - 2 roles available.

Stonegate Group are investing in their Technical Security with two roles available for Security Analysts. Reporting to the Information Security Manger, the Technical Security analysts will ensure that our Information Assets and systems remain confidential, available and retain integrity at all times.
As a Technical Security Analyst, you will be a technical resource that will assess security policies and controls for effectiveness and suitability against the security risk profile. You'll have experience in information security and either hold a professional qualification or willing to do whatever is required to become trained and qualified.
We want the Technical Security Analyst to document and make recommendations to improve security systems and provide solutions to advance the company's overall security. You will identify flaws in the infrastructure and make decisions based on technical analysis.
Protection of digital assets from unauthorised access will be paramount, documenting risk mitigation before a data breach occurs.
As a security professional, they will research and organise ethical hacking to expose weaknesses in the on-site infrastructure.To be successful as a Technical Analyst you will need:
Highly competent with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Security
Knowledge of email and Web gateway's
Delivery of security-based projects to set deadlines
Knowledge and use of vulnerability scanning tools
Strong documentation skills, for example delivery of technical reports, process documents
The ability to work independently
Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both in front of large groups of team members and in written interactions
Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, firewalls, routers
GDPR / Data Protection regulation knowledge
Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks, for example, NIST, ISO27001, CISIdeally we'd additionally like the Security Analyst to have the following:
Hospitality/retail experience highly desirable (but not essential)
PCI DSS awareness
Educated to degree standard or equivalent (or appropriate practical experience)
Relevant security qualifications
Governance, Risk and Compliance knowledge
