The Associate Manager, Clinical Operations is responsible for management, support and oversight of the Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Nurses and Research Assistants team, as well as start-up, clinical execution and close-out of assigned clinical trials.

Key Accountabilities;

Leadership; Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management, support and development of the Clinical Operations team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives.Positive work environment; Maintains a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner.Staff Reviews; Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.Planning and Execution; Accountable for the planning and preparation of clinical trials, including but not limited to; risk mitigation planning, study setup, clinical conduct oversight and coordination of post-clinical activities.Regulation and SOP Compliance; Ensure all studies are setup and conducted as per Protocol requirements, GCP and local SOPs, while ensuring adherence across the clinical team.Metrics; Assist in the review and collection of relevant operational metrics and implementation of subsequent initiatives to improve performance.Unit Support; Provide support with tasks and initiatives as set forth by Director, Clinical Operations and Senior Management.Qualifications

A Nursing qualification or a degree in Biological Science.At least 2 years operational experience in a clinical pharmacology environment, working directly in the conduct of clinical trials.Previous experience in other areas of study conduct would be beneficial.Experience of cost control and financial management, advantageous.Why Work at Parexel
