Digital Design Program Manager

We are seeking a Digital Design Programme Manager to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 12 months contract.

The Digital Design Program Manager (DPM) serves as an advocate for the design team, helping to scope, prioritize and manage our work, and supporting the day-to-day running and scaling of the team. The DPM works with the team to ensure that products and services are delivered on time, on budget and with excellent quality. The DPM works in close collaboration with Design, Product and Technology to ensure that stakeholders and designers understand scope, have visibility into the roadmap and are equipped to tackle new projects in addition to existing ones. The DPM enables designers and researchers to spend more time designing and researching, leading to better product and service outcomes for our clients.

  • Partner with Design team, business stakeholders and product managers to create a framework for manage the assigned book of work/s and prioritizing initiatives
  • Manage the project pipeline and resourcing in close collaboration with Design leadership, identify overlaps across projects and maintaining a transparent project backlog
  • Identify and drive opportunities for efficiency, speed and scale
  • Work with Business and Finance partners to manage the design team's business operations
  • Participate in key project decisions with the DXD leadership team including prioritization, scheduling, and team coordination
  • Establish a systematic process for project status tracking and communication with team members and stakeholders
  • Drive goal setting and defining metrics of success from inception through project delivery
  • Champion a culture of client centricity by provide guidance and coaching to project team members to advocate for clients throughout all phases of the product lifecycle

  • Strong understanding of Design (UX, Visual Design, Service Design, Research and Content Strategy) and its methodologies.
  • Experience in end-to-end, digital products and services solutions, managing and meeting project milestones and deliveries on-time and on-budget
  • Experience in improving team collaboration and productivity through project and program management to change the way teams work and make them more effective
  • Experience partnering with design, project teams and leadership
  • Deep understanding of product design, software or digital development, and brand strategy
  • Demonstrated experience managing design and digital initiatives
  • Understanding of product development methodologies like Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall
