Salary: £35.78 per hour inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time.

Course details: ABC Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: Integrative. Term Time only: Wednesdays, 16.00-17.30; Thursdays, 16.00-17.30.

Certificate in Counselling Skills. Term time only: Thursdays 20.30-21.30; Saturdays, 16.00-17.00 (January 2022)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the Psychology and Counselling department, a team of committed and passionate holistically trained professionals who provide a wide range of Psychology and Counselling courses to adults in London. If you are a qualified Counsellor with experience Counselling adults, we would love to hear from you. You will be part of a supportive team, and receive plenty of opportunities for developing your teaching practice.

The Role:

To facilitate a personal development group as part of the Certificate in Counselling Skills or Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling courses.

What we are looking for:
  • Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • Have a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
  • Understand and have experience of promoting safeguarding, health and safety as appropriate to the role.
  • Have 3 years (post qualification) experience as an Integrative Counsellor.
  • Be practising as an Integrative Counsellor.
  • Be in current and ongoing Supervision.
  • Have BACP membership and abides by the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
  • Have up to date knowledge and an enthusiasm and interest for the subject.
