The Supplier Product Manager Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Product Manager to join our commercial team with specific responsibility on the food vertical in the EMEA region based in the UK. The successful candidate will be targeted to support sales growth and gain of strategic market share positions through key supplier relationships to deliver double-digit gross profit growth
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
+ Primary interface with one or more key strategic supplier portfolios.
+ Facilitate business development through product management.
+ Continuously monitor market share by mapping suppliers and competitor’s activity.
+ Negotiate supplier conditions including purchase price, delivery, payment terms and other relevant environments.
+ Drive structural gross profit growth and market understanding.
+ Price Management – drive tactical pricing, communication and strategy with the sales team.
+ Manage opportunity pipeline.
+ Ensure correct product documentation for product supply.
+ Drive Inbound Supplier service performance improvements through mutual review and feedback directly with the supplier as a partner.
What we are looking for:
+ The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a sales or commercial role, alongside a food and/or marketing background.
+ It is essential that you are self-motivated, organized, a strong communicator and confident in leadership and influence, and possess excellent IT skills.
+ The successful candidate will have proven commercial judgment, attention to detail, the ability to work with SAP, SFDC and Q and be able to work alone and at distance when needed.
+ You should strive for excellence in customer service and sales facilitation with pride in the accuracy of information.
