The Project Coordinator Opportunity:

Working in a highly creative and dynamic environment, assisting Project Director to manage chocolate products from design concept to delivery, including coordinating between different departments internally, e.g. design, sample, tooling and production to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner; and ensuring customers are updated with the progress of the projects where required.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support the Project Director in managing chocolate designers’ work load, priorities and progress, so that max output is achieved within specified timescale.
+ Liaise with customers to arrange samples to be sent off and obtain sign offs.
+ Create project passports to reflect the information that have been signed off about the projects and kick off the internal process from tooling to production to delivery.
+ Liaise with different departments on a daily basis to ensure the status of each process is on track, and update Project Director of any potential issues.
+ Liaise with the customers on the status of ongoing projects where required.
+ Update internal project management documentation.
+ Support other team members where required

About You:

+ You’ll be extremely personable and an excellent communicator across all levels. You’ll also be a good listener and be confident in raising questions or asking for help when needed.
+ A high level of organisational skills, the ability to manage time efficiently and work to deadlines with the ability to multitask is key.
+ You’ll be numerate, with excellent attention to and memory of detail and the ability to self-check work against brief and technical requirements.
+ You’ll be able to take direction and act independently.
+ You’ll be motivated and driven, able to push through when the ‘going gets tough’.
+ Experience in the FMCG or design environment is an advantage though not essential.
+ Proficient with office suite, e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook.
+ Work collaboratively with team members and across the teams to deliver required results.
+ Able to think creatively to tackle problems at hand with a willingness to learn.
+ Ideally you’ll be local to the area, you’ll want to work in a small manufacturing business in the Forest of Dean!
