Over the next few years, the support Local Trust provides to the communities it serves, will be more important than ever - and their plan is to meet that need head on.Local Trust are looking for a new Senior Programme Coordinator (Funding) to join their brilliant Programmes Team. The purpose of this role is to manage and monitor Local Trust's funding programmes, primarily Big Local, providing support to those they fund. As a Senior Programme Coordinator, your main focus will be on managing day to day relationships with Big Local partnerships and key stakeholders delivering big local in areas, with a particular eye on financial risks. You will be supporting the effective delivery of the programme by reviewing and analysing budgets and reports, carrying out quality assurance and commissioning assessments of plans and monitoring spending. Eventually, they envisage the Senior Coordinator evolving to play an important role in implementing some of their approaches to new issues and risks, such as the acquisition of assets through big local, supporting partnerships that need to re-energize following the pandemic and/or those that have set up new legal entities as part of their legacy plans. Ideally, you will have previous experience of managing community focused funding programmes with strong analytical and numeracy skills. Experience in financial planning, monitoring and review is also required. As well as being an excellent communicator who develops and manages relationships effectively, you will be a proactive and innovative team player who is able to prioritise multiple projects successfully and take the initiative.
