Job Details

I am assisting one of the world's leading biotechnology companies who require an experienced project manager on an initial 12-month contract basis.
This exciting opportunity is available to a seasoned project manager both inside or outside the pharmaceutical industry.
Candidates must be based in the UK, but as the role can be 100% homebased, location is not stipulated for this role, although reporting into the office (London) occasionally is encouraged.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are documented. May obtain and manage external resources required for project completion.
The project manager will manage one or more high-level, complex projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements.
Projects may be strategic in nature. Responsibilities may include resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle (i.e. feasibility study, requirements, analysis, ROI, business plan, design, testing, and implementation planning).
Regularly interacts with management. Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members. May be a cross-functional team.

The interview process will be three stages, and will be conducted virtually.

Experience

Desired attributes include:

Expertise in running medium to large scale projects, preferably 2-3 years experience.
excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures,
excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources

experience with project management and analyst methodologies and best practices,
Strong MS skills and ability to work from a remote setting via Microsoft Teams and other meeting tools (e.g. WebEx) skills,
strong analytical skills,
business process development best practices, change management,
understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration,
