About the role
Time Recruitment Solutions are happy to working with a well established business based in New Mills. Having been in operation for more almost 100 years they are now looking to the best talent for the next generation.

The role will be predominantly a pipe fitter, this will involve being able to install new pipe & heating systems as well as maintain old ones. The equipment within the factory is diverse and ranges from process equipment to high speed packing lines. The technology is also varied and includes mechanically orientated machines to "state of the art" robotic systems. The Site Services that support operations include boilers, chillers, air compressors, effluent treatment, building and infrastructure maintenance.

Skills the successful candidate will gain
During the apprenticeship you will gain the following skills and take more responsibility for these tasks over time.
*Plumbing skills
*Working with steam systems and drainage systems
*Welding skills
*Basic maintenance skills.
*Electrical skills
*Managing the boiler house
*Using a forklift truck

Key skills / Experience / Qualifications needed
*A technically minded individual who is keen to learn new skills and improve existing ones.
*Able to work well in a team as well as individually
*Reliable and punctual
*Shows initiative and a strong work ethic
*Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or equivalent
