Are you looking for a new challenge? Our client is one of the largest affordable housing providers in Staffordshire. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Group Ledger Supervisor to join the members of the Finance Team.
This role will involve providing support to the Group Ledger Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group's Purchase/Sales Ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and building relationships with customers and suppliers both internally and externally. This role will also provide support with the administration of the supplier portal and purchase ordering system and to encourage the use of these systems throughout the business.
Experience in working in a fast paced/busy finance department and working to tight deadlines
Strong Accounts Payable knowledge
Staff management/supervisory skills
Experience of sales ledger/raising sales invoices
Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel
An understanding of period end/accruals process (desirable)
