Charity People are delighted to be working with one of the most exciting charities in the UK. This leading Children's Poverty Charity are working tirelessly to ensure children do not face any barriers to their education and their fundraising team are smashing their ambitious targets. Due to significant growth in the last 12 month, they are looking to recruit a Head of Individual Giving and
Engagement to capitalise on this moment and help them to develop the acquisition, engagement and development of individual supporters. These supporters include those who give donations, set up their own fundraising events, participate in challenge events and community campaigns, and more.
You will be responsible for leading the Individual Giving and Engagement team to deliver integrated supporter journeys, apply insights and audience research, innovate and test approaches that provide a variety of ways in which individuals can support the Charity. This role will also line manage three team members; an Individual Giving Manager, a Community and Events Executive and a Fundraising Officer.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in primarily individual giving or direct marketing, although knowledge of other fundraising income streams will be considered and we welcome applications from this area. You should have experience in managing and inspiring teams, experience of income forecasting, reporting and strategic planning, have outstanding creative skills and ability to innovate. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with excellent relationship management skills and an ability to network and influence at a senior level.
