Job Details

An independent day school providing specialised education for children aged 4 to 12 years who hold Statements of Special Educational Needs for Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and associated social and communication difficulties is looking for an Assistant Head Teacher to join their team from September.
Share in the leadership of the school by working in partnership with the leadership team to provide an outstanding education for our pupils, whilst ensuring sustained school improvement occurs in the quality of teaching and learning throughout the school, and the aspects of school life for which you are accountable.
? Shared leadership of the school as a member of the Leadership team
? Deputise for your line manager as required and in collaboration with the other Assistant Heads
? Quality of teaching, learning, assessment and pupil progress across the school
? Strategic leadership of the Blue Pathway
? Day-to-day leadership, organisation and management of staff and pupils within your Pathway
? Oversight of EYFS and supporting EYFS Lead
? Data Analysis of AETs, Functional Curriculum and PSHE across the whole school
? Line management of Blue pathway teachers and own class LSA's
? Manage staff performance and improve the professional skills of colleagues
? Teach to an exemplary standard
