Robert Walters Public Sector Division: Finance Manager - Permanent - Warwickshire - Salary Up to £40,000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a permanent Finance Manager position for a key client in the charitable sector. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team and lead the operational finance service. This is a great role for any candidate looking for an amount of flexibility while covering a well rounded finance remit.

Key Responsibilities for Finance Manager
  • Ensure financial plants to support the strategy for the coming years are focused on
  • Providing a high quality of service to all managers whom are responsible for their own budgets and are held accountable to perform according the budget set
  • Lead the operational finance team on a day-to-day basis
  • Production of monthly group management accounts including forecasts on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for the setting of the annual budgets in line with the longer-term financial plans
  • Author of the finance report providing a timely update to the Finance Committee and the Charities Management Board of the finance position and forecast each month
  • Handle financial audit within the organisation, this role is responsible for overseeing the annual audit of the accounts liaising closely with external auditors

Person Specification for Finance Manager
  • The ideal candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified
  • Have comprehensive Excel skills
  • Previous experience in a management accounting position ideally
