Our client in Doncaster is recruiting for a passionate and experienced Export & Import Coordinator to join their busy department on a 12 month FTC. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with customers and international shipping at high volumes.
£25,000 + 12 month FTC + 25 Days Hols (plus Bank Holidays)
-Manage the export and import process from start to finish.
-Co-ordination of all Import and Export movements within the business
-Ensuring the correct delivery of shipments and record-keeping that comply with legislation.
-Monitor shipments and provide customer audit trails with detailed milestones.
-Ensuring freight is packaged, labelled and in the correct area for exporting.
-Responsible for highlighting dangerous goods shipments
-Knowledge of exporting or importing
-SAP knowledge (desirable)
-Customer service experience (not in a contact centre)
-Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
-IT literate- Microsoft Office
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong organisational skills
-Work towards KPI's
