Guntrader is the UK's largest online trading platform for guns and shooting equipment. Coupled with our online marketplace, we are also the supplier of a software solution to over 400 dealers across the UK. We have established ourselves as the market leader in our field we are now looking to maintain this position and expand the services we provide. To help achieve this goal we are looking for a new member to join our small team.
We are looking for a self-motivated and dependable marketing and administration assistant, with a flair for words to join our team and maintain our strong market position.
· To develop and optimise existing content and create new content with the aim of enhancing customer experience and boosting organic traffic to the guntrader site.
· B2B marketing, manage our monthly mailshot to retailers who use the guntrader platforms.
· B2C marketing, this will include the management of our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts along with the production of our monthly mailshot.
· Management of the guntrader Community section, coordinating with writers to ensure we have a consistent flow of new content uploaded. These will range from gun and equipment reviews, help articles, blog posts, news articles and event updates.
Most of the tasks above will be on behalf of guntrader there will be requirement for the candidate to perform the same tasks for other companies within our group.
The applicant must be proficient with Microsoft office products and Social media platforms. Experience with Adobe products would be beneficial.
The candidate must be a competent writer, comfortable with developing informative and conversational items for both the website and social media.
Attention to detail and proficiency at proofreading is essential.
Knowledge of data protection and privacy (GDPR).
Some knowledge or experience of SEO would be useful but not vital.
Experience of shooting or knowledge of guns is not essential, but the candidate must be willing to learn and research products.
