Pre-Sales Engineer


50-70k Base, 70-120k Uncapped OTE + Great Benefits

Our international award-winning and highly acclaimed client is a leading provider of cloud-based sales enablement solutions. Headquartered in the US, this growing company unites sales and marketing teams and drives results for some of the world's largest companies. Due to continued growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Pre-Sales Engineer to be based in or near London.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Gather and understand business and technical requirements
  • Write and present compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and prospect questionnaires
  • Backstop the Sales Team and provide supplemental in-depth product demonstrations
  • Manage proof-of-concepts
  • Showcase the product
  • Work with sales, client services, account management and the executive team to scope complex and strategic sales opportunities
  • Act as the Technical Lead
  • Provide technical account management assistance to sales and account managers
  • Remain technically current

Pre-Sales Engineer applications are invited from candidates with the following skills and traits:

  • Degree educated
  • 3+ years customer-facing pre-sales/sales engineering/sales support experience
  • Enterprise SaaS experience
  • High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Pivot tables
  • Enterprise software architecture
  • Content management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel

The successful Pre-Sales Engineer can expect:

  • A base salary of 50-70k
  • First-year achievable OTE of 70-120k
