Lead ICT Business Partner, Permanent opportunity, Oxford-based but remote working options available.
Your new company:
Working for an Enterprise-scale Public Sector Organisation based in Oxfordshire who are currently undergoing a large digital transformation programme. They are currently seeking to onboard a Lead Business Partner to work in true partnership with the Business, proactively identifying and exploiting opportunities through the co-creation of technology and ICT service solutions and ensuring that Business investment decisions are aligned to both the ICT strategic technology plans and the overall business plans & objectives.
Your new role:
This role reports into the Head of Business Services and will be responsible for transforming the relationship and working practises between ICT and the key Senior Stakeholders, developing the Business Partner role from a reactive service provision into a truly proactive and trusted advisor to the Business. With this role sitting within the ICT function of the Business, a deep understanding of delivery Technical Solutions to the wider business is desirable, whilst a proven background in Service Delivery or Relationship Management is essential. As Lead Business Partner, you will also be required to formally deputise for the Head of Business Services both during times of absence and as required during business-as-usual activities, which can involve meetings with Chief Stakeholders and Senior Decision Makers throughout the business.
What you will need to succeed:
The successful candidate will need to have experience and understanding of working with Enterprise Scale Technology - i.e., Supporting a 10,000+ strong user base. More so, you will be an experienced ICT Client Manager having delivered ICT service in a similarly complex and sizable commercial environment using an industry recognised approach such as ITIL. You will have demonstrable experience of creating, mentoring, and managing a Senior Leadership Team, showing confidence when engaging with Stakeholders at the most senior of levels and acting as an effective influencer when gaining agreement to common approaches to ICT Deployment across the business. Finally, you will competently show experience and give examples of successful application of Technical Solutions to business problems, identifying techniques used to streamline process and drive Business Improvement.
