We are looking for someone to join a well-established school which is located in Bow, East London. Our client is looking for an experienced primary school teaching assistant. Someone who has experience in working across KS1 and KS2.

As a teaching assistant you require the ability to form a relationship with the school and pupils quickly and be able to adapt to differing circumstances. We are looking for someone who is physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour, and they require physical restraint (school will provide training). Working in a primary school requires for you to have a positive, calm, and nurturing approach.

Start Date: September 2021
Contract type: Full Time
Duration: Full academic year
Location: Bow, Tower Hamlets
Pay Rate: £80 to £95 per day (depending on experience)

What we are looking for:
  • An experienced teaching assistant
  • Must be physically fit and strong as you will be working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour.
  • Experience working in a primary school
  • Good team player - someone who can take direction and also be responsible and thoughtful
  • A positive, calm, and nurturing approach

What REED needs from you:
  • Must have a DBS on the update service or willing to undergo a DBS check
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
