PremFina Ltd is a fast growing; venture capital backed premium finance company that promotes financial inclusion by enabling the payment of insurance premiums via instalments. With headquarters in Mayfair, London, it supplies insurance brokers with funding lines and also enables self-funding by insurance brokers and MGAs via its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) affiliate IXL PremFina Ltd. PremFina's shareholders include global investors Rakuten Capital, Draper Esprit Plc, Thomvest Ventures, Emery Capital, Rubicon Venture Capital, Talis Capital and the company's founder.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to lead the Finance department in driving forward data analysis and insights. The finance function requires data insight enhancements, and this candidate will be required to drive this forward and develop and execute the data strategy. This candidate will require strong analytical skills as well as a good business and product understanding. Strong interpersonal skills will also be required as engagement will be required across each department within the business.

  • Support in providing analysis which supports the development of robust forecasts and budgets
  • Partner with the business to drive efficiencies through automation and data analysis
  • Develop and execute on finance data strategy
  • Provide support and analysis to other departments within the business
  • Support finance department with data analysis to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Develop analysis and understanding of our loan book data including aging, arrears and cancellations analysis
  • Support in the development of financial modelling
  • Develop automated broker reporting

Skills required:
  • 2.1 and above university degree
  • Proficiency with accounting software and data analysis software tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Product and industry understanding
