We are looking for a Programme Manager with strong leadership skills and extensive Fibre Build PIA / OR Telecoms experience to join our expanding team in Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Telecoms Management experience working with Sub-contractors on a Fibre build rollout across multiple councils. Highways engagement is a large part of the role therefore a proficient understanding of Permitting, SROH & NRSWA compliance is a must in order to be accepted for the role. Telecoms commercial experience is also required as you will be responsible for signing off on all build costs under your remit.

Experience Required:

Extensive Telecoms Management experience of leading a large-scale Fibre Build across multiple Build Partners & council areas.

Excellent knowledge of PIA, SROH, NRSWA & HAUC guidelines

Good understanding of CDM (Construction Design Management) requirements.

Proficient knowledge of Fibre PIA / OR build specifications

Excellent presentation skills - you should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages - Power Point, Excel etc.

To Programme Manage a large scale THP FTTH Build across the South of England ensuring Health & Safety, Delivery, Quality Standards and Commercial targets are achieved. The role requires a Programme Manager with strong leadership capabilities to lead a team of internal staff (Back Office, Field Based Co-ordinators & Commissioning Engineers) & Sub-contractor Build Partners in the rollout of an ultrafast Broadband build across multiple towns and villages. Working into the Network Build Director providing accurate detailed reports on build forecasting & progression.

Manage a large scale FFFH build across the Hampshire region across multiple Highways Authorities

Ensure Internal Team and Build Partners are compliant in line with NRSWA, SROH & Fibre Build specification.

To own the relationship with Highways Management across multiple councils in conjunction with internal Street Works & Permitting teams.

Work effectively with Street Works, Permitting & design teams

Ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled against internal & external stakeholder requirements

To ensure all staff are trained & accredited to work on the network - PIA & OR accreditations

Provide strong management & leadership of internal staff / Build partners

Ensuring all THP is built to glide in line with set company targets.

Ensure Fibre Build is in line with Design requirements to ensure network is built with 100% fibre capacity.

Driving improvements into the quality of the surveying, civils & flex build activities through the management of the Field-Based Coordinators & Partner Management.

Commercial ownership for all build under your remit ensuring build costs are not exceeded

Management of additional costs / DFEs (Deferral from Estimate) with your team.

Identifying failings and putting improvement plans in place to rectify risks to build

Chairing and attending meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Presentation of weekly reports for all stakeholders, internally & externally

Ensure compliance with all company procedures / SLA's

Based in the Hampshire region but prepared to travel as and when required.

Any ad-hoc duties as requested by the Build Director
