A leading core plus infrastructure private equity firm have launched a new strategy to invest in infrastructure technology and energy transition/efficiency sectors globally. The new vehicle will target early stage and greenfield investments into companies across such as battery storage, hydrogen, electric vehicle infrastructure, new mobility, electrification, smart cities and so on. They're currently fundraising, targeting a multi-billion close and will seek high-teen IRRs.THE ROLE
The primary focus is on leading the sourcing and execution of European investment opportunities including all related activities, with the support of juniors. You will play a key role in the post-acquisition phase, sitting on the boards of the businesses acquired and rolling out the various business plans. Part of this will be to identify and lead on bolt-on investment opportunities, and ultimately leading on the exit process.

To be considered for this opportunity you must fit the following criteria:
- c.8-12 years of experience coming from either; a competing infrastructure fund with a proven track-record in sourcing, executing, and managing European infrastructure investments, or a leading PUI M&A team from a bulge bracket/boutique Investment Bank.
- Sector experience in or equally a passion for the Energy Transition and supporting technologies
- Excellent leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong ambition and go-getter attitude
