Job Details

Lead Engineer : Building a new video streaming platform from scratch!

Tech : Java 11+, Spring, Docker and AWS

Salary : £95,000-105,000K plus 20% bonus

Remote working : 3 times post-Covid

Note : You'd be given sufficient time to get up to speed with video streaming

A rapidly expanding data and user experience business is hiring a Lead Engineer to join a newly forming team to develop a greenfield video streaming platform

As a Lead Engineer, you'd shape, define, hire & develop their new platform working alongside the CTO and an experienced Product Manager with video streaming domain knowledge.

You'd join a fully-funded tech incubator sitting within an existing and highly profitable business. Working with a lean, powerful and most importantly friendly/respectful team. All restrictions have been lifted to give you the freedom to build the product in the right way.

As the Lead Engineer, you would have free reign to try new things and share ideas. For everything else, there's Java 11+, AWS, K8's, Docker, etc.

Now is the perfect time to join as you would focus on this initial challenge but ( depending on your career objectives ) as the engineering hub grows (set to double over the next 6-18months) so would your role/responsibilities!

- Salary: Six-figure salary + 20% bonus

This a super challenging and rewarding role for a self-motivated Lead Engineer to build a brand new video streaming platform from scratch. Working alongside a truly awesome team with huge growth potential over the coming years.

*Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, not all submissions will receive feedback.
