Job Details

Position: QA Engineer

Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum

Location: Middlesbrough

Remote Working: 3 days remote work, 2 office days (Brand new offices)

They are now looking to add a self-driven and highly motivated QA Engineer to the team.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Selenium or Cucumber.
  • Experience working within a testing role in a software environment.
  • Previous hands-on experience writing and executing test scripts.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experienced in working in Agile environments.
  • Experience working with cloud services.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating closely with other team members and departments.
  • Execute all levels of testing.
  • Analysing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
  • Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Provide timely execution of tests.
  • Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Provide support and documentation.
  • Determine and agree quality procedures, standards or specifications and ensure that they are always met.
  • Make suggestions to improve and support the testing lifecycle.
  • Communicating frequently with the Scrum Master and Development Manager.
