Marcus Donald are currently searching for an Application Support Analyst to join an Application Operations team and be the "face" of a large and growing Insurance companies IT department. You will be tasks with providing excellence in service and support to customers.

**12 months initial FTC with the view to go permanent after the initial 12 month FTC**

My client has developed their own industry leading software platforms which are fully maintained and supported inhouse. You will deliver the very best customer service and support to both their internal and external customers.

Supporting both client and broker facing platforms, you will manage the progress of internal referrals, updating and amending data where necessary via internal systems.

This role will suit a bright and enthusiastic individual that desires a future career in systems analysis or application support. It will offer an opportunity to see the end to end systems project lifecycle, interacting with both end users and developers.

Application Support Analyst - Key responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Ensure reported incidents, bugs and tasks are all handled within defined service levels
  • All incidents, bugs and task tickets are handled with the highest level of standards and service
  • Provide high quality, accurate reports from their internal systems
  • Provide timely, high quality documentation and guides on their applications and ensure they are communicated and readily available to the end users
  • Ensure the end user receives the frequent communications in relation to any ticket submitted and feels that their ticket is being managed

Application Support Analyst - Knowledge & Experience:
  • At least 3 years experience in Application Support required (ideally within Insurance or financial services)
  • Advanced excel data manipulation and presentation skills
  • SQL - basic required
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Effective communication
  • Good product knowledge
  • Great collaborative skills

Application Support Analyst - Education & qualifications:
  • SQL qualification of at least basic at a minimum required.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location - City of London

Start Date - 12/07/2021 (earlier if possible)
