Our client is an international private equity secondaries investor. It has provided liquidity for LPs of all descriptions including buyout, venture capital, real estate, and mezzanine funds. As a Market Intelligence Associate, you will support the business with integral research for the investment team, investor relations team and any other ad hoc strategic initiatives. Using both quantitative and qualitative analysis, you will provide key decision makers across the firm with accurate and timely information and be the go-to for industry and market insight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Produce market-related content to support various internal teams for the purposes of deal origination, investor relations and other strategic initiatives
  • Research and analyse industry trends and track market movements through external data sources as well as internal intelligence
  • Monitor competitor activity including performance, investments and fundraising strategies
  • Develop materials for conferences and engagement with institutional investors alongside the investor relations team
  • Manage the firm's data resources - be the go-to person internally for market intelligence
  • Review, manage and negotiate with suppliers / products to ensure cost-effective data solutions

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Background within financial services - experience within private equity or asset management is an advantage
  • Numerate, analytically minded with proficient Excel skills and ability to analyse data sets
  • Excellent written English skills - strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Good academic track record - preferably with a finance-oriented degree
