Your role
We're growing our digital team so we're looking for people who are experienced in delivering transformation for our Government and Public Sector clients and through that, help our clients achieve better outcomes for citizens and employees. You will be someone who is curious and bold in taking initiative, a good collaborator and empathetic people manager who can bring out the best in others and grow our business without compromising on quality, standards, integrity or culture.
As a Director working with Public Sector clients at Deloitte, you will:
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Transport Partners and Directors to provide direction and management of all thing's digital transformation for Transport clients.
  • Have a track record of building and sustaining long standing, trust-based relationships with senior clients and have a deep experience of technology transformation within the Transport sector.
  • Be active in the market, bringing a distinctive voice and differentiated points of views to relevant client issues, industry and technology trend.
  • Shape and influence the solution design and development of proposals for clients, including structuring teams and developing pricing and commercial models.
Your specific responsibilities include:
  • Guide digital transformation business development and bid activities for selected Transport clients.
  • Build and lead a network of client relationships across our Transport practice and being the lead point of contact for relevant client accounts.
  • Build, cultivate and have responsibility a set of industry and partner relationships.
  • Building and communicating a distinctive point-of-view on relevant client issues, product, industry and technology trends.
  • Craft and lead proactive go-to-market strategies/campaigns and bids, collaboratively architecting solutions in response to client outcomes and requirements.

Location:

Primarily London, Manchester or Bristol but we are happy to discuss other locations with you.

Overall, you're an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer - that's important. If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.

Essential:
  • Experience of successful business development and bid activity within the Transport market, including Central Government Departments, Executive Agencies, Arm's Length Bodies and Transport Operators.
  • Understand the challenges facing transport and have experience of shaping go-to-market strategies/campaigns to address them using modern digital approaches.
  • Cultivating client relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders on a range of programme and delivery management activities
  • Cultivating followership and managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are supported to grow and are recognised for their contribution.
