Due to significant growth of the team over the last 12 months, we now have an exciting opportunity for a talented Operations Director to join one of Starcoms flagship accounts; Samsung. Samsung have had a remarkable year, having invested well over £100Million in media, the UK is being held up as the No. 1 Global Market within the Global network. In October last year, we pitched and won the Customer and CRM assignments and in May this year, we were also appointed as their Commerce Strategy agency. The fantastic results are down to the brilliant team of people who work closely together to strategise and make problem solving into an art form. In March this year - OPTS was shortlisted in the Campaign Media - Agency team of the Year category which was a huge achievement of which we are hugely proud.
You will liaise closely with the Operations teams in NYC and Finance within the UK in order to align best practice across the client. You will work with the Head of Operations as well as Planning and Investment Directors to ensure that all teams are adhering to correct processes. A key part of your role is to increase profitability by improving trade working capital through the output of the junior members who perform all financial administrative tasks relating to evidencing & invoicing of campaigns across all media. You will occupy a senior position within the team and be responsible for identifying and driving efficiencies by evolving and streamlining processes through automation, simplification, deduplication and standardisation.

Lead the day to day operational best practice to ensure smooth running across the team
Lead Quarterly Operation reviews with client to review process efficiencies and identify any issues
Manage a team of 3; 1 experienced Manager and 2 Finance Execs
Liaising with Operations teams across Publicis Media (UK and OPTS US) to share and reapply learnings and best practice to ensure consistency across all agencies
Build Starcoms reputation, positive relationships with media owners and partner agencies
Work with MD and BD's to ensure monthly Forecasting is aligned across all investment units
Take responsibility for Financial Due Diligence part of PRIP
