We are looking for a Product Manager for ITP Data Analytics (Benchmarks).

Serving as a critical tool for buy side and sell side clients alike, this product delivers a suite of powerful analytical services that enable broker/dealers and investment managers to measure and compare operational performance against that of counterparties and industry peers.

DTCC's Institutional Trade Processing's vision is to enable clients to reduce the number of touches in the post trade lifecycle and leverage consolidated exception and settlement management capabilities to drive settlement finality. The Product Management Director leads a team of data driven Product Owners, who are passionate about the UI client experience and determined to ensure the client voice is reflected in product outcomes. As the product manager, you will actively work with clients to continuously evolve the product strategy and vision by anticipating needs, understands client wants/needs and effectively translate them into a Product Roadmap. The position will require you to supervise, and steer business analysis and requirement documentation of complex and dynamic initiatives with a primary focus on the book of work made up of data, analytics, UI and client experience related projects. The position will oversee and often draft and present business requirements to both internal and external stakeholders for ratification, in addition to coordinating with cross-functional resources to achieve project objectives and representing DTCC in various industry led forums on projects and new initiatives. The role also facilitates and leads external working groups composed of major industry participants that help advise on requirements and design options.

Your Responsibilities

Lead a product management team within ITP for the Data Analytics (Benchmarks) product.
Continuously evolve the product strategy and vision by anticipating needs, understands client wants/needs and effectively translate them into a Product Roadmap
Define and communicate a product vision, review and approve mockups/wire frames and lead road mapping, goal setting, prioritizing, project execution, and data product roll-out strategy
Work with the regional product management lead and business to deliver on the specific initiatives prioritized and budgeted for the region
Collaborate with product management peers globally to ensure best practice and core principals are understood, adopted and implemented in regional initiatives
Collaborates with client support teams and technology partners (both Application Development and Enterprise Infrastructure) on delivering new capabilities and enhancements
Facilitates and leads external working groups and other relevant subject matter working groups
Manages achievement of project deliverables and includes coordinating efforts of a variety of functional areas to ensure projects are completed on time and budget and within a quality framework
Assists in product training efforts for all touchpoints to both internal and external customers, inclusive of documentation, publications, E Training tools, FAQ's
Monitor project budgets for specific initiatives / projects
Review / oversee user stories generation
Ensures the product development methodology process vis a vis specific projects is followed, i.e., ensures stage-gate process is followed (specific DTCC internal methodology)
Expected to be SME in an area of the product and, where required, to attend meetings with clients to help with product area of expertise.
Identifies potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevates to appropriate management
Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed For Success:

Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Strong background in data analytics, UI/UX, Dashboards, wireframing
Understand the broad uses of data within the organisation and create solutions that improve the productivity of data users.
Understand the business, strategy, data sets and work with partners to develop reusable data models, dashboards, or other data assets.
Contribute to and drive the strategic direction of our data analytics capabilities
Know the client journey and client experience to evolve the product, identify new insights and contribute to driving additional revenue through enhanced capabilities
Exhibits solid understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques.
Understands and uses applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration.
Knowledge of financial services operations, Post Trade Processing, trends, and user demand
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving skills, organization skills, and attention to detail
