Primary School in Cardiff
A Welsh Medium primary school in Cardiff are looking for a part-time PPA teacher to cover across Foundation Phase and lower Key Stage 2. The Head Teacher is looking for a primary practitioner who is happy to teach from Reception to Year 4 with consistent behaviour management. You would be teaching a variety of subjects across all year groups including P.E and would receive the long-term planning prior to starting in September.

You would be covering a temporary role which would on the week commencing Monday 6th September 2021 until the wend of the academic year. Whilst you cover PPA in the classrooms there is a full-time teaching assistant who is familiar with the class and the daily routines. Being familiar with the New Curriculum is essential. The school are interested to meet with NQTs and experienced teachers for this role. As the school are looking for someone to start in September, the applicants availability can vary as the 2/3 days are not yet decided.

The Head Teacher would like to give suitable candidates the opportunity to arrange school visits prior to appointing. The Head Teacher is looking to shortlist and appoint by Friday 25th June 2021, this then gives the successful candidate time to come into school to meet the teachers and discuss the planning/ curriculum coverage.
